Roofing Materials and Services:

What types of roofing materials do you offer for installation or replacement?
For sloped roofs, commonly found in residential and multifamily buildings, we specialize in installing composition shingles and cedar shakes. For flat and low-slope roofs, typical in commercial buildings and some residential properties, we have expertise in installing TPO (Thermoplastic Polyolefin), PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride), and torch-down membrane systems. These materials are specifically designed to withstand the unique challenges posed by flat and low-slope roofing, offering excellent waterproofing and longevity.

Do you recycle materials used in the roofing process?
Yes, however, not all roofing materials can be recycled currently.

Project Logistics and Timelines:

How long does a typical roof installation or replacement project take?
A typical house takes 2 or 3 days. Commercial and multifamily projects can take 1 week to multiple months, depending on the project size and complexity.

Can you provide an estimated turnaround time for my roofing project?
We will provide you with an estimated turnaround time based on factors such as the scope of work, material availability, and current workload. Jobs are typically completed in the order they are scheduled, and our team is dedicated to seeing each project through to completion before moving on to the next. Once your project has commenced, our crew will remain focused on completing it before transitioning to other assignments. This commitment ensures that your project receives the attention and dedication it deserves. It's important to note that weather conditions can sometimes impact our schedule. In the event of adverse weather, we will communicate any necessary adjustments to the timeline to ensure the safety of our crew and the integrity of your roofing project.

Cost and Payments:

What is the cost estimate for my roofing project, including materials and labor?
The cost estimate can vary widely. The residential average cost is $15,000.00. Due to the size and complexity of commercial and multifamily buildings, the cost can start from $30,000.00 to a few hundred thousand dollars.

Do you accept credit card payments for your services?
We accept Visa and Mastercard.

Do you offer financing options for roofing projects?
We offer financing options on residential projects. Offers can vary throughout the year.

Quality Assurance and Maintenance:

Do you provide a warranty on both workmanship and roofing materials?
Workmanship and roofing materials warranty are provided with all roof replacement jobs.

What is the recommended maintenance for my new roof?
Roof maintenance is important to maximize the life expectancy of the new roof. Edca Roofing can provide their customers with a maintenance package that best suits each individual roof type.

How do you handle unexpected issues or repairs that may arise during the project?
The experienced roof estimator tries to foresee problems before the job starts, but unexpected issues may arise once the old roof has been removed. The homeowner or building owner's representative is informed of the issue prior to doing the repairs. Extra work is documented with pictures.

Customer Flexibility:

Can I choose to have specific sections of my roof done now and others at a later time?
Under appropriate conditions and in consideration of the customer's best interests, this can indeed be arranged. However, it's essential to ensure a distinct separation between roof sections to facilitate the proper installation of a new section. While this practice is more commonly seen in commercial properties, it is feasible for residential projects as well.

Cleanliness and Cleanup:

Do you clean the roofing area thoroughly after the roof installation or replacement is completed?
Yes, very important. We take pride in leaving the roof and site cleaned of all roof-related debris. Magnet cleaning is done around the job site.

References and Credentials:

Can you provide references or examples of previous roofing projects you've completed?
Yes. Often, it is best to look at another project so you are confident that you like what you will be getting. Our website and social media pages offer a variety of images EDCA has completed.
